History and Operations: Transafrik International is a charter cargo operator and is registered in the UK with an Air Operator Certificate issued by the CAA of Sao Tome and Principe where the aircraft are registered. The majority of cargo operations are centred in Luanda, Angola and in Lokichokio, NW Kenya (near the Sudan border), in support of international organisations, primarily supporting UN relief operations including air drop operations, mining companies and commercial freight. In addition to the normal commercial freight air transport, it also specialises in tanker operations, delivering diesel and oil to areas inaccessible by road.
